The footpath which forms part of the Lecale Way to the Quoile has been closed by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
The path is between the Belfast Road and the Old Belfast/Killyleagh Road. It will be closed for a three-month period to allow for its refurbishment. It is anticipated that closure will take place between the 30 January 2023 and 28 March 2023. Please note that these dates may be subject to change for operational reasons.
Works will include the replacement of the existing wooden boardwalk, new fencing and the tarmacking of the existing path surface.
