PR and Communications Training with Mackle Communications

This training will focus on maximising club communications in the press, working with newspapers and radio, and working with other clubs to collaborate on storytelling.
This course is limited to 12 places. Please nominate one person per club to participate. This session will be recorded and can be shared with the full membership after the training has concluded.
Cost: FREE (Sport NI funded)
Session Content:
- Understanding your story and audiences (who are you trying to reach?)
- The 5 Ws and 1 H approach: Who, What, Why, Where, When and How
- Crafting compelling stories about club walks, events and member experiences
- Writing effective press releases for walking festivals and fundraisers
- Tools and channels for communications (social media, local media, community newsletters)
- Simple, practical techniques to encourage engagement and trial walk sign-ups
- How to capture member stories that resonate with potential new members
- Q&A and group discussion
