    About

We are a group of older folk who enjoy the benefits of the outdoors, walking and companionship of like minded people who also have a fun social side to our club. As you can see from the programme we walk in a fairly wide range of areas, especially in the summer. The Easy Rambling Club meets every other Sunday. All walks start at 14.45 and last about 1½ hours.

Our name, ‘The Easy Ramblers’ definitely reflects the nature of our walks – no rough or hilly terrain, with a focus on everyone being able to participate and enjoy the outdoors together.

Following our walks, we usually are able to find somewhere to have light refreshments and a chat, before leaving for home.

Our SPRING/SUMMER Program commences from APRIL 2026. We would like to extend an invitation for you to come on a few walks with us to see if what we offer is what you are looking for in a walking club.

Having considered the safety of all members, the committee has decided to request that pets accompanying their owners on club walks should be kept under control at all times. Please wear suitable footwear for walking, if possible walking boots, as conditions can be muddy or rough in any season. We warmly welcome new members who have joined the club.
