This online session will explore what “governance” means and why it is important, as well as who should be responsible for governance within your club. We’ll cover the options for the legal structure of your group, looking at the pros and cons of each so you can make an informed decision. We then will consider how to best set up your governing committee, how to recruit the right people to your board and share a few practical tips from other clubs about how to make it work most effectively.
